About milk crate

Milk Crate is the music publication of WECB, publishing 50+ online pieces as well as a themed, print zine each semester. We are interested in all things music, from concert reviews to industry analysis to personal essays about movie soundtracks or love letters to specific instruments.

We have a dedicated staff who attend weekly workshops, pitch meetings, and contribute to Staff Pix in addition to producing pieces. Students can join our team as writers, editors, photographers, or designers: all we need is a passion for music.

We accept pitches from all students, regardless of staff status. If interested in pitching to us, please email us at milkcrate@wecb.live. You can also reach out if you are interested in us reviewing your music, photographing your gig, or just connecting about the local scene!
